Meet the Wulfings Stick Insect. Isn’t she impressive? That’s a 30cm ruler next to her for scale. She is quite special as she is facultatively parthenogenic. This means that she can breed with or without a male. Males do exist though, with their larger wings they can travel further and help to disperse the species. Normally these are very hard to find but this lady barrelled straight at us from a tree top like a crazy, skinny drone.
